Claude Jean-Charles Jr. passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the age 27. He was born in Boston on January 8, 1984 to Claude & Marlene (Antoine) Jean-Charles. Claude was raised in Melrose, attended Melrose Schools, went to Lincoln Technical School in Everett and has been a lifelong resident. Mr. Jean-Charles was a talented musical artist, loved his homeland of Haiti and enjoyed being a Haitian rapper. Claude cherished the times spent with his family, enjoyed cooking and basketball. Mr. Jean-Charles was the loving son of Claude & Marlene (Antoine) Jean-Charles. Beloved brother of Tamara Marcelin & her husband Dieunes of Weymouth, Weguens Jean-Charles of Haiti, Jeff Jean-Charles of Boston, Valerie, Myrna, Marvel & Stephie Jean-Charles all of Melrose. Cousin of Gary Civil of Melrose & his girlfiend Mariette Romelus of Haiti. Also survived by 6 nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday July 22nd at 9AM. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Claudes life will be held at St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited.
