Obituary

Colin Fitz-Arthur Lewis of Melrose, MA, passed away peacefully at home on April 27 with his loving, caring wife Hermine, his children and grandchildren by his side. He was 84 years strong.

Colin was born March 13, 1940, in Kingston, Jamaica, to his late parents Clifford Lewis and Maude Johnson. He was a professional tailor and an avid fisherman. When he emigrated to the United States in the 1980s, he worked as a Mental Health Worker at Metropolitan State and Westborough State Hospitals. His love for horses took him to Suffolk Downs many days after his retirement.

The love and joy he had for Jamaican music could be heard wherever he drove in his bright orange car.
