Concetta "Connie" (Limone) Athanas passed away on February 7, 2026 at the Bear Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was 104 years old.
Devoted wife of the late Salvatore (Skip) Athanas and the mother of Carol Crouse and husband William of Napa Valley, CA, Ronald Athanas and his wife Donna of Manchester, and Peter & Eileen Athanas of Melrose. She is the grandmother to Shelby Turner and her husband Christopher of Melrose, Michael Athanas and his wife Dorothy of Manchester, and Steven Athanas and his wife Jenny of Manchester. and the late Marcella (Marcie) Athanas. She is the great grandmother of Alexa and Madison Turner, Jake and Elizabeth Athanas, Lily, Samuel, William & Charles Athanas.
Devoted daughter of the late Peter & Antonia (Lombardo) Limone. Caring sister of Rose Balesteri & her late husband Alfonso, and the late Joseph Limone & his late wife Laura, the late Josephine Micale & her late husband Paul, the late Salvatore Limone & his late wife Margaret, the late James (Nini) Limone & his late wife Mary, the late Rosario "Roy" Limone & his late wife Helen, the late Mary Bramante & her late husband James, the late Frank Limone, the late Lena Fortunato, the late Carmela Scott & her late husband Russell, the late Helen Palano & her late husband Charles, and the late Peter Limone & his late wife Olympia. Also survived by many nieces nieces & nephews, other family & friend's also.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Herbert Street, Melrose. Please go directly to the Church for Connie's Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street Everett. Family & Friend's respectfully invited to attend.
