IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Constantino R.
Testa
June 16, 1938 – February 15, 2025
We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear dad, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Connie Testa. Born in Boston in 1938 to Gaetano Testa and Emma (DeAngelis) Testa, he was raised in East Boston as one of seven children.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Cynthia Testa; his children, Michelle Walker, Jim Testa, and Kim Izzi, along with their spouses, Jeff Walker, Clif Thorn, and Louis Izzi. His oldest son, Robert Testa, predeceased him in 2008. He also leaves behind his twin sister, Constance Chessor. In addition, he is survived by his adoring grandchildren: Shawn Walker, Dale Walker, Rachel Walker, Olivia Izzi, Louis Izzi, and Andrew Izzi, as well as his great-grandson, Gage Walker.
Lovingly known as Hon, Papa, Buddy, Connie, and Uncle Bro—no matter what you called him, he was always glad to see you. His love of cars began at the age of sixteen when he got his first job at Murray Motors. If he wasn't refurbishing an old classic car, he was driving one to his favorite beach in Ogunquit to soak up the sunshine.
A devoted family man, he worked hard all his life and understood the value of perseverance. He embodied the American dream—striving to create a better life for his family so that they, in turn, could do the same. Mission accomplished!
He was a selfless, funny, and sweet man who could often be found chasing leaves off his lawn or soaking up the sun by his pool. A fixture on Pearl Street, he was loved by neighbors and their children for two generations. He inspired his own children to work hard, love deeply, and pursue their dreams.
Lucky us to have had him for 86 years. He will live on within us for the rest of our days.
