Dana K. Norcross died at Courtyard Nursing Home in Medford on March 28th at the age of 84. He was born in Watertown, graduated from Hollywood High School in CA, Hunnington Prep. School and was raised in East Sandwich and West Borough. Dana lived in Malden for many years and Melrose since 1995. He worked as a letter carrier for 25yrs with routes in Malden and Melrose. Dana served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion in Everett & Malden. He was the husband of the late Theresa M. (Masci) Norcross. Father of Lana J. Wortman of NH and Loretta E. Norcross of Melrose. Brother of Steven Norcross of E. Sandwich. Grandfather of Janis MacAskill, Scott, Steven & Glenn Wortman. Great grandfather of Scott & Anna Wortman and Katelyn & Sarah MacAskill. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. April 2nd at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visitng hours Monday 4-8PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
