Daniel J. Boyle, son of the late Daniel J. & Josephine (Mannix) Boyle, passed away at the Metro West Hospital in Framingham, on Friday, September 19, 2008. He was 83 years of age. Mr. Boyle was born and raised in Peabody. He graduated from St. John's Parochial & St. John's Preparatory School in 1943, Notre Dame College in 1947 and from Harvard Law School in 1950. Dan was formerly Associate General Council at Commercial Union Insurance Company in Boston for 29 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Boyle lived in Danvers for 8 years, Scituate for 30 years and Framingham the past 12 years. He was a member of the American Bar Association and enjoyed living at Carmel Terrace at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham. Mr. Boyle was the husband of the late Georgia (Williams) Boyle and the late Evelyn S. (Shoulder) Boyle. Brother of John F. Boyle and his wife Phyllis of York, PA, Brother James M. Boyle CFX of CT and Joseph P. Boyle & his wife Jolyne of Beverly. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces & grand nephews. Visitation will be held at the Holy Family Chapel at St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd from 10:000 to 11:00am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM.
