Daniel Michael Frongillo of Malden, formerly of Melrose, suddenly by accident, March 7, 2022, age 42. Daniel is a native son of Melrose, MA. He was born at Melrose Wakefield Hospital on September 21, 1979. He went to elementary school at the Decius Beebe School, then went on to Melrose Middle and High School. Daniel graduated with the class of 1997. He had a passion for TV production, in fact around the age of 12, he started to frequent MMTV, where he continued doing Production work until his untimely passing. He was also very involved with the TV channel at Melrose High during his time in school. Anyone who knew Daniel knew he loved wrestling. It was a lifelong passion for him, he lived and breathed the sport. He would go on to create the Boston Wrestling Millennium Wrestling Federation. They would amass tens of thousands of followers on social media and put on thousands of events. Daniel was even featured on the Howard Stern show for an interview he did with wrestling legend, The Iron Sheik, who became a close personal friend. Daniel, through the MWF, raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Special Olympics, it was a charity near and dear to his heart. Although Daniel never married, he was an amazing uncle to Hazel and Harrison Frongillo as well as a very special friend to Brandon and Devaughn. As reserved as Daniel was, his kindness knew no bounds and he will truly be missed by his family, friends, colleagues as well as fans world wide. Cherished son of Roger E. Frongillo of Malden & Mary Jane (Falasca) Frongillo of Lynn. Beloved brother of Andrew C. Frongillo & his wife Jessica of Georgetown. Proud uncle of Hazel & Harrison Frongillo. Beloved grandson of the late Carmine & Mary (Rotondi) Frongillo and the late Michael & Lillian (Peterson) Falasca. Special nephew of Elizabeth Frongillo of Saugus and Joanne Falasca of Saugus. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4:00-7:00PM, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday March 12th at 10AM, with a burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
