David M. Charbo Charbonnier passed away unexpectedly, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on May 10, 2007. He was 30 years old. David was born and raised in Melrose, he went to Lincoln Elementary School and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1996. David was generous in nature, had a great sense of humor and was loved by all that met him. He worked as a truck driver for Royco Mailing Services of Melrose for several years and had previously worked for UPS Logistics. David played for the National Little League & Babe Ruth baseball in Melrose; he loved music, computers, his cat Oreo and his many friends. Mr. Charbonnier has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. He is survived by his parents David K. & Sharon L. (Piper) Charbonnier. His brother Matthew D. Charbonnier of Malden. Grandson of the late Philip & Alice Charbonnier and Theron & Evelyn Piper. Nephew of Madeleine Passerini of AL and the late Kenneth & Mary Ellen Hobbs and Donald Charbonnier. Also survived by several cousins. Friends & family may gather at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tues. May 15th from 8:00-9:30AM. A funeral Mass will follow at St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Childrens Research, 401 St. Jude PL., Memphis TN 38105 or to a charity of your choice.
