David W. Connolly, 36, died at home unexpectedly Monday. Born in Somerville, he was a lifelong resident of Melrose. He was a St Mary's Church parishioner. David was the son of the John J. Connolly of Melrose and the late Catherine P. ( Walsh ) Connolly. Former husband of Theresa ( Nausley) Connolly and father of James D. and Tara L. Connolly all of Melrose. Brother of Andrew of Reading, Mary Volpe of Stoneham, Anne Cusato of Billerica,John J. Connolly Jr. of Melrose, Kathleen Fernandes of Melrose, Patricia Scarborough of Andover and Christopher Connolly of Saugus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St Melrose on Fri Aug 31 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts., Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
