David S. Csicsek died suddenly at his home in North Point, Florida, on September 11, 2022. David painlessly passed away at the age of 60.
Dave was born in Everett, was raised in Melrose, was a longtime resident of Melrose before moving to Florida in October 2021. He graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1980, received his bachelor's degree from the University of Lowell and his master's degree from Lesley College in Cambridge.
David worked for Coffman Engineering for many years and had a passion for his occupation of fire & safety engineering. He loved firearms, the beach and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Melrose. He was an avid golfer and was a former member at Salem Country Club as well as Bellevue Golf Club in Melrose.
He loved taking trips to Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head with the guys every year as well as playing golf in Florida, Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. David was a people person, was kind and friendly to all he met and had an infectious laugh & a great smile.
David was the beloved son of the late Zolton J. and Barbara A. (Falvey) Csicsek. Caring brother of William P. Csicsek & his wife Lianne of Pepperell, Stephen J. Csicsek & his wife Erika of FL and the late Michael D. Csicsek & his wife Barbara of Melrose. Cherished uncle of Christina, Kimberly, Alexis, Christiana, Csenge & Bence.. Also survived by many other relatives and great friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield on Friday, October 21, 200 at 10:00AM, followed by an interment with his parents at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Dave's memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation @ www.t2t.org
