Deborah Ann Cullinan of Naples, Florida, formerly of Nahant, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was only 53 years old. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on February 9, 1955 to Francis & Irene (Athy) Cullinan, Debbie was raised in Nahant and a 1972 graduate of Lynn Classical High School. After raising her 2 children, she graduated from Essex Agricultural School of Beverly as a nursing technician. She worked for Hunt Hospital of Beverly, Lahey Clinic of Peabody and Cleveland Clinic of Naples, Florida as an Operating Room Technician. Debbie was extremely creative and enjoyed sewing and gardening however, her greatest treasures were her family and especially Cole & Ellie, her grandchildren. She is survived by her partner of ten years, Martha Crespo of Naples, FL. She was the loving mother of Stefan Polnicki of Nahant & Irene (Polnicki) Hamernick & her husband Scott of Sunrise, FL. Cherished grandmother of Cole & Ellie Hamernick of Sunrise, FL. Loving daughter of Francis & Irene (Athy) Cullinan of Nahant & Naples, FL. Caring sister of Michael Cullinan & his wife Dale, Mark Cullinan & his wife Mary, Francis Cullinan & Diane Perepelitza & Kathleen Canty, all of Nahant. Also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins & close friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 10th at 10AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Church 248 Nahant Rd., Nahant.
