Denise F. Barnes passed away at her home in Boston, on January 12th, at the age of 47. She was born and raised in Everett, graduated from Everett High School with the Class of 1975. Denise worked in the security department at Sears for several years and has been a resident of Boston for the past 12 years. She was the loving mother of Melissa LaLiberte of Leadville, CO. Sister of Charles Barnes & his wife Claire of Melrose, Carole Pratt Fisher & her husband Vern of Merrimac, Donna Krupilis & her husband Don of PA and Paul Barnes & his friend Vernon James of NH. Caring niece of Joseph & Margaret Sheehan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Saturday, Jan. 15th at 1:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral on Saturday from 12:00PM-1:00PM. Burial will be private.
