Dennis J. Markelionis passed away at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on Sept. 5th at the age of 52. Dennis was born in Boston, raised in Brighton & Melrose, graduated from Domenic Savio High School in East Boston, Class of 1969. He worked as an automotive mechanic in Salem for many years and enjoyed gardening. Dennis was the son of Vincentia (Korklen) Markelionis of Melrose & the late Joseph J. Markelionis. Brother of the late Paul J. Markelionis. Cousin of Torey DeFrancesco & his late wife Joanne of Revere, John Czopor & his wife Katherine of Roslindale and Elaine OMalley & her late husband David of Franklin. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday Sept. 10th, at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited.
