Dianne L. (Northrup) Christenson, of Melrose, died at the Brigham & Women's Hospital on Dec. 20, 2010 at the age of 57. Dianne was born & raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1971. She attended Northeastern University and worked as an Executive Administrator for Cambridge Health Alliance for 4 years, Polaroid for 16 years and Dynamic Research for 15 years. Dianne was a member of Sacred Heart's Church in Malden for many years, was a Eucharistic Minister and helped restore the Stations of the Cross at her church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics, bowling and most of all shopping. Dianne loved to travel on cruises and Ireland with her family. She was the loving daughter of Jacqueline (Goss) Northrup of Melrose. Caring sister of Christine M. Brickley. Cherished aunt of Ellie A. Brickley of Wakefield and Michael V. Brickley of Salem. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday Dec. 30th at 8:45AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart's Church, 315 Main St., Malden at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 5-7PM. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
