Donald J. Flynn, 61 died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Tuesday Jan 2 unexpectedly. He was born and raised in Winchester, he played minor league baseball in the Brooklyn Dodgers farm system. He entered the Marine Corp in the late 1950's and served for 6 yrs in the Marine Reserve. and was discharged with the rank of sargent. He was Security Officer at the Leggart -McCall Security Co of Boston for many years. He was a longtime member of St Mary's Church and worked on the maintenance staff at St Mary's. He was the son of the late William L. & Nora ( Greene ) Flynn. Brother of JohnB. Flynn of Laconia NH, Robert Flynn of Orlando FL, Ann Breenan of Melrose and Patricia Boiko of Winnesquam, NH. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass was celebrated at St Mary's Church on Tuesday Jan 9. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. Visitation: None None
