Donato "Danno" Ventresca, of Melrose, passed away suddenly at home on August 26, 2021. Danno was born in Melrose on May 5, 1970 to the late Donato & Loretta (Federico) Ventresca. He was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1988 and was a lifelong resident. Donato worked in sales for E.J. Prescott and Company, a pipe and sewer supply company. Prior to that he worked at Water Works in Malden for many years. Danno loved to travel and his goal was to visit every state in the US. He was a very kind and caring person with a great personality and a great big smile. He also loved to garden. Donato was the caring brother of Salina Ventresca of Melrose, Phyllis Johnson & her husband Robert of NH and John Ventresca of Stoneham. Devoted uncle to his three nephews Robert Johnson, Michael Johnson and John Ventresca, Jr. and had a very special bond with his niece Deanna Ventresca. Great uncle of Lilly & Grason and survived by many other loving family members and friends. Funeral services and burial will be private.
