Donna Marie Lane, of Peabody, formerly of Salem, sadly passed away peacefully at the age of 73 in the comfort of her home.

She was a kind, caring person who was always there when you needed her most. Offering support, advice, and love in

abundance. She was a loving daughter, niece, cousin, friend, and loving wife to Donald Lane for 51 years, and the best mother to her sons Daniel (44) and Ryan (46). She was predeceased by her loving mother Ann Marie (Higgins) Malone "Meme".

Donna leaves behind her loving husband, of 51 years, Donald Lane. Her sons Ryan & Daniel. Loving grandchildren Conor & Olivia. Loving daughter-in-law Caitlin Lane. She also leaves behind many cherished aunts, cousins, and friends who felt her warmth, generosity and endless love.

She will be missed dearly by all those she touched in life. We invite all who knew her or her family to join us in remembering a truly amazing woman.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, November 21st, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, MA. A Funeral Service will be held inside the funeral home immediately following the visiting hours at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
