Donna M. Milmore, of Charlestown (formerly of Melrose), died suddenly on February 16, 2014. She was 63. Donna was a long-time Tufts employee, working in the career services office since 2000. She cherished her time there, which was spent advising, guiding, and mentoring undergraduates as they embarked upon their journey post-college. She was active in her parish of St. Mary - St. Catherine of Sienna in Charlestown and her former parish St. Mary's of the Annunciation of Melrose. Donna did her undergraduate work at Suffolk University and received a Master's in public relations from Boston University. Her greatest love was her family and the importance of family shown through everything and everyone whom she touched. She was pre-deceased by her husband Jerry Johnson, and is survived by her daughter Erin Wheeler and son-in law Scott Wheeler, of Westborough, daughter Caitlin Flaherty and son-in-law Dan Flaherty of Melrose, and daughter Alison O'Connell and son-in law Brian O'Connell of Burlington. She leaves behind her four precious grandchildren: Casey, Luke, Ryan and Declan. She was the sister-in-law of John and Andrea Johnson of Wellesley, and Frank and Diane Johnson of Vienna, VA, and the cousin of Patricia Harte of Winchester. She was also the aunt of Brian, Greg, and Neil Johnson, Erin Johnson, and Adam and Kari Johnson. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday, Feb. 22nd at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00-8:00PM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity that holds meaning to you.
