Dora J. Comeau, 95, died at Harborside Healthcare of Wakefield Saturday morning after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Canada, she had lived in Cambridge 20 yrs, Barnstable for 30 yrs prior to moving to Melrose 10 yrs ago. She was a homemaker. Dora J. was the wife of the late Elezer J. Comeau. Daughter of the late Horace & Frances ( Meuse ) Newell. Aunt of Nancy Buonopane of Wakefield, Elizabeth J. Parsons of Burlington, Patricia L. Rainville of Wakefield, Karen Dean of New York, Ronald Saulnier of Beverly and many nieces and nephews in Canada. Funeral Services will be in the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Tuesday June11 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited Visiting hours prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
