Dorothy F. (Holland) Cardillo passed away at her home in NH, on Monday, February 14, 2011. She was 91 years of age. Dorothy was born in Cambridge, MA to the late William & Clara (Sahm) Holland. She was raised in Cambridge, lived in Wakefield for most of her life and the past several years in Barnstead, NH. She worked in research and development for the AVCO for 8 years, was a former member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield and a present member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Pittsfield, NH. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Alfred P. Cardillo. Sister-in-law of Ernie & Doris Masiello of Melrose & FL and James & Mildred Connolly of Melrose. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, February 18th at 10AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham to follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Dorothy's name to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 20 River Rd., Pittsfield, NH 03263.
