IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy A.
Comeau
October 3, 1932 – January 16, 2025
Dorothy A. Comeau was born at home, in 1932, to Priscilla and Percy Comeau, in Malden where she resided her entire life.
Dot attended Cheverus Grammar School and Cheverus High School, after which she pursued studies in physical therapy. The polio vaccine was discovered and the need for physical therapists turned into a surplus of therapists, so she never applied her training. Instead, she began a long career with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
Dot had chronic health problems from an early age, until her death at 92. Having never married, she was a devoted daughter and loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sisters and their husbands, Pauline and George Doyle of Malden and Annette and Adolph Martin of Grosses Coques, Nova Scotia, as well as her parents, Priscilla and Percy Comeau. She was the aunt of her devoted nephew Ken Doyle, of Malden, who looked after her in her final years, and her nieces Karen Cox and her husband the late Robert Cox of Saugus, MA, Diane Blinn and her husband Aldric of Grosse Coques, N.S., and nephews, Kevin Martin of Grosses Coques, N.S. and the late Bob Doyle and his wife Lynn of Londerry, NH and the late Jerry Martin and his wife Verna of Grosses Coques, N.S.. She is also survived by several great and great grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A funeral service will begin in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Family & friend's are respectfully invited to attend.
