Dorothy M. (McClellan) Dunn died after a long illness at the Stanley R. Tippett House in Needham Oct. 6th at the age of 89. Dorothy was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammer & St. Mary's High School and has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. Dorothy worked for the N.E. Telephone Co. as an operator before she was married. Dorothy and her husband Harry have been married for 60yrs and she enjoyed traveling with Harry all over the world. She was the loving wife of Harry Dunn. Devoted mother of Henry J. Dunn Jr. of Melrose. Sister of the late Babe Flemming, John J. McClellan, Lillian Tully, Mary Dewsnap, Natalie Tole, Frank McClellan and Celeste Vitale . Graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery Sylvan St. Melrose on Wed. Oct. 10th at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. Oct. 9th from 5:00 - 9:00 PM.
