Dorothy B. (LaMarca) Huber, age 66, a lifelong resident of Melrose & homemaker, passed away in her home, on September 29, 2010 after a brief illness. Dorothy was born in Stoneham on April 19, 1944 to the late Stephen & Josephine (Turco) LaMarca. She was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1961, from the Berkley School of Music and Wilfred Academy of Cosmetology. Mrs. Huber was the co-owner of Mam'selle Hair Salon on West Emerson St. in Melrose for many years with her sister Joyce and brother Tom. Dorothy had a wonderful singing voice and a very warm & loving personality. She was the best friend and devoted wife of 33 years to J. Randall Huber. Daughter of the late Stephen & Josephine (Turco) LaMarca. Loving sister of Joyce (LaMarca) Currier & her husband George of Melrose and Guy "Tom" LaMarca & his wife Lynne of Melrose. Beloved aunt of George Currier Jr. & his wife Rachel of Everett, Chris LaMarca & his wife Satu of Mansfield, Laura (LaMarca) Moscoso & her husband Geovanni of Swampscott, Kimberly (LaMarca) Hosford & Stephen LaMarca both of Haverhill. Also survived by numerous great nieces & nephews of all whom she loved dearly. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, on Saturday, October 2nd at 11AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy's name to All Care Hospice, 16 City Hall Sq., Lynn, MA 01901.
