Dorothy K. Lynch passed away at Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham, on January 2, 2006, she was 93. Dorothy was born and raised in Melrose, she went to St. Marys Grammar and St. Marys High School. Miss Lynch has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. She worked as a secretary for several companies in Boston for many years and then as an Executive Secretary for the John B. Payne Company of Boston for many years. Dorothy joined the Bellevue Golf Club of Melrose in 1946, was a member for over 50 years and was the womens club champion for several years. Miss Lynch enjoyed skiing, tennis and traveling throughout the United States and Europe with her late sister, Helena Lee Lynch. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Michael & Margaret (Lucey) Lynch. Sister of the late John Lynch, Mary OConnell and Helena F. Lee Lynch. Also survived by several nieces, one nephew and many grand nieces & grand nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, on Thursday Jan. 5th at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
