Dorothy M. (Nicosia) Strileckis, age 71, died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Tuesday Feb. 4th after a short illness. Dorothy was born in Boston, raised in Somerville, graduated from Somerville High School and has been living in Melrose the past 40 years. She was an administrative assistant at Verizon for 15 years. Dorothy was a member of the Melrose Women's Bowling League, member of the 'Egg' Class and a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. Dorothy was the wife of Anthony L. Strileckis. Mother of William A. & his wife Edna of Easton, Anthony L. Jr. & his wife Terrie of FL, Andrew M. & his wife Shelly of Sudbury, Gregory A. & his wife Maureen of N. Andover, John J. Strileckis of Melrose and the late Paul E. Strileckis. Sister of Charles Field & his wife Mary of VA. Grandmother of Gelyn, Christine, Kevin, Jillian, Alina, Paul, David and Elizabeth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday Feb. 7th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM.
