Drin Pelushi passed away peacefully on August 30th,2026, while at the Glen Ridge facility in Medford, Mass. He was born in Permet,Albania in 1948, son to Shaze ( Musabelliu) and Abedin Pelushi. Before coming to America in 1999 Drin was a mechanical Engineer in Tirana,Albania. He was a devoted husband,father and grandfather whose greatest joy in life was simple being surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his son Arbi Pelushi of Quincy, brother Joan and his four sisters ( Mejtime,Lumturi, Luljeta,Dhurata) and also several nieces and nephews. Drin had one granddaughter Sophia Pelushi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster Street, Melrose. At 12:00 PM we will drive in funeral procession to Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan Street, Melrose for the interment. Family & Friend's respectfully invited to attend.
