Edgar A. Caggiano died at the Center for Optimum Care in Wakefield Oct. 3rd at the age of 91. Ed was born in East Boston, raised in Malden and has lived in Melrose the past 41yrs. Ed worked as a painter for several paint contractors in the Boston and Melrose areas for many years. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. Ed was a member of the VFW Harold O'Young Post #2394 in Melrose and the Melrose Fish & Game Club. He was the husband of the late Eileen (Coughlin) Caggiano. Brother of the late Flora Mirto. Brother-in-law of Paul Mirto of Melrose. Services will be private. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose. Arrangements by Gately Funeral Home Melrose. Visitation: None None Funeral Service: None None
