Edio R. Pesaturo passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on Friday, January 23rd, at the age of 79. Edio was born and raised in East Boston, graduated from East Boston Trade School and attended University of Maine. Mr. Pesaturo worked as a printer for 45 years and the last 15 years of his career at United Lithograph of Somerville. Edio was a WWII Veteran serving in the Army Air Force, he was a dedicated family man, enjoyed planting and maintaining his tomato garden and was an avid Red Sox & football fan. He was the loving husband of Rita I. (Sementelli) Pesaturo. Beloved father of Paul E. Pesaturo & his wife Terry, Michael S. Pesaturo & his wife Ann, Peter J. Pesaturo & his wife Gina, Janet A. Pesaturo-Zak & her husband Robert and James A. Pesaturo. Brother of Norma Compagnone, Delphine Markis and the late Armando & Salvatore Pesaturo and Emma Vergados Pesaturo. Devoted grandfather of Andrea, Jessica, Thomas, Jonathan, Christine, Anthony, Lisa, Angela, Alison and Steven. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W.
