Edmund R. Kilrow Jr. died at his home in Weymouth, on March 28, 2021. He was only 64 years of age. He was raised in Allston, went to the Woodrow Wilson School and Boston Trade School. Mr. Kilrow lived in Reading for several years, Melrose for 14 years and the past 15 years in Weymouth.
He owned and operated Weather Tite Inc, a door and window construction company in Reading for over 25 years. He loved watching movies, taking trips to the Caribbean, was a people person and had a great sense of humor. Ed was a great cook, loved going out to eat and was an animal lover, especially his cats. Mr. Kilrow was a family man; he was very close to his daughter Erica and was so proud of his son Vincent for carrying on in his footsteps in the construction field. Ed especially loved his two grandchildren Jacob & Gia, who would light up his life when they spent time together.
Mr. Kilrow was survived by his best friend, his business partner and former wife Gale (Pascale) Kilrow. Loving father of Vincent Kilrow & his former spouse Kerry of Wakefield and Erica Puglisi & her husband Anthony of Saugus. Cherished grandfather of Jacob & Gia. Caring brother of Francina Kilrow of Quincy, Paul Kilrow & his wife Denise of Weymouth and the late Joseph Kilrow. Loving uncle of Paulie Kilrow, Leah Kilrow & Emily Kilrow. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 4:00-7:00PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:0PM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.
