Edna J. Bradley passed away at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, on November 30, 2007; she was 85 years of age. Edna was born in Boston, raised in Jamaica Plain, graduated from Jamaica Plain High School and attended Boston Clerical School. Miss Bradley lived in Jamaica Plain most of her life, Brighton a few years and Melrose for over 10 years. She worked as a secretary for Boston City Hospital for over 30 years. Edna loved music, the opera and singing in the Blessed Sacrament Church choir in Jamaica Plain. She enjoyed traveling, photography and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Daughter of the late Thomas W. & Madeline (Rothmund) Bradley. Sister of Frances E. Flint of Melrose and the late Madeline E. Bradley. Aunt of Mark F. Flint of Melrose. Cousin of David & Julie Rothmund of NH. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday Dec. 3rd, at 8:45AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Monday morning from 8:00-8:45AM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in W. Roxbury.
