Edna V. Farrell passed away June 8, 2005 at the Winchester Hospital, she was 92 years old. Born and raised in Melrose, she attended Melrose Public Schools and graduated from Boston University in 1934. Edna worked for the General Electric Company from 1941 to 1967 as a secretary & recruiter. She retired in 1977, lived in Dennis for many years and the past several years in Stoneham. She was a member of St. Patricks Church and also a charter member of the Jet Pioneer Assoc. of the USA. Edna was the loving aunt of John P. Brennan of IN, Paul M. Brennan of Saugus, Neal C. Brennan of Marthas Vineyard, Kevin Farrell of Billerica and David Farrell of Northboro. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sat. June 11th at 8:00AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral Mass from 8:008:30AM. Burial in St. Patricks Cemetery Stoneham.
