Edward P. Malley, 74, died at Mass. General Hospital Tues after a brief illness. Born and raised in Chester PA, he graduated from St James High School class of 1946 and from Widner College in Chester.Edward was Business Manager at Badger America, a petro-chemical refinery manufacturing company, traveling extensively thoughout the United States. He retired while serving at their home office in Cambridge in 1993. Edward was a resident of Melrose for the past 25yrs and a parishioner of St Mary's Church. He was the husband of Ann ( Harrington ) Malley. Father of Edward P Malley Jr & his wife Nancy of Wakefield, Maureen Malley of Melrose, Michael Malley & his wife Judy of Tewksbury, Peter Malley & his wife Elizabeth of Everett, Ann Malley of Melrose and Jack Malley & his wife Michele of Stoneham. Grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Stephanie, Steven, Johnny and Mikey. Brother of Marie McHugh of PA, Evelyn McGowan of Franklin and the late Jack Malley. Also survived by several neices and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Sat Nov 16 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church corner of Herbert & Myrtle Sts. Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited Visiting hours Fri 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. WW II Army veteran.
