Edward B. Parow, of East Boston, former of Chelsea, died at home on Jan. 9, 2013 at the age of 71. Ed was born & raised in Chelsea and a graduate of Chelsea High School. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, the National Guard and was a Disabled American Veteran. Ed resided in Chelsea for most of his life, Malden for several years and East Boston for the past 8 years. He worked as a Lineman for New England Telephone Company for many years. Ed was a member of the V.F. W. Post in Chelsea and enjoyed spending time with his family. Ed was the caring brother of Kenneth Parow & his wife Theresa of Chelsea, George Parow & his late wife Barbara of Fl, the late Robert Parow & the late Walter Parow & his wife Helen of North Reading. Former brother in law of the late Mary Parow. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday, Jan 23rd at 11AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9-11AM. Interment to follow in VA National Cemetery in Bourne.
