Edward T. 'Zip' Zibrofski passed away at Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Nov. 6th at the age of 82. Zip was born and raised in the West End of Boston and graduated high school in Boston. He lived in Somerville for most of his life and the past 12 years in Chelmsford. He was a foremen for Paul DuTelle Roofing of Newton for over 40 years. Zip also served in the Marine Corps during WWII. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date. He was the husband of the late Gertrude E. (Scanlon) Zibrofski. Father of Thomas E. Zibrofski & his wife Patricia of Melrose, Patricia J. LaFlamme of Holliston and Janet M. Gardner & her husband Richard of Marshfield. Grandfather of Jill Halligan of Melrose, Erin Zibrofski of Burlington, Timothy Gardner of S. Boston, Luke & Jake LaFlamme of Holliston. Great grandfather of Kelli & Chloe Halligan. A Memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Christine Church 1295 Main St. Marshfield on Sat. Nov. 9th at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited.
