Eileen F. (Greelish) Butt passed away in Duxbury on Dec. 10th at the age of 66. Eileen was born and raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School Class of 1956. She lived most of her life in Melrose and the past 9 years in Naples Florida. Eileen was a crossing guard at the Melrose Common for the Melrose Police Dept. from 1985 to 1994 and has been a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. She was the wife of Edward R.' Bob' Butt. Daughter of the late John & Margaret ( Sullivan ) Greelish. Mother of Julie Ann Kordis, Donna Eileen McGrath & her husband Daniel all of Duxbury and Monica Ellen Fountain & her husband Paul of Marshfield. Grandmother of Michelle M., Kevin C. & Keith R. Kordis, and Brendan P. & Briana Fountain. Sister of Barbara O' Brien of Melrose, Kevin F. Greelish of Ipswich, John N & Thomas Greelish both of Saugus, Joseph Greelish of Marshfield, James Greelish of NH and the late Mary M. Foley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St. Melrose on Sat. Dec 13th at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 3-8 PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
