Eileen B. (Bishop) Williams of Wilmington, formerly of Melrose died on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Wilmington Health Care Center. She was 93 years old. Born on November 23, 1915 in Boston to the late Noel A. & Bertha (Pehrson) Bishop, she was raised in Nahant and attended Lynn Classical High School. Later Eileen lived in Revere for a few years, Melrose for 35 years and then Medford for 18 years. Mrs. Williams worked as a cashier for the J.B. Bloods Company of Lynn and Elm Farm of Melrose, retiring at age 60. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and entertaining. She was the beloved wife of 47 years to the late Ralph E. Williams. She was the loving mother of Ralph N. Williams & his wife Janet E. Williams of Wilmington. Cherished grandmother of John Sibley Williams, also of Wilmington. Caring sister of the late Joseph Bishop & his late wife Mary of Saugus. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral service in the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday, March 25th at 10:30AM. Family & friends respectfully invited. Deacon Frank Valeri will officiate. Visiting hours Tuesday, March 24th from 4-7PM.
