Elaine A. (Flammia) Erikson, of Melrose, passed away at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Feb. 11, 2006. She was 62 years old. Born & raised in Somerville to the late Michael Flammia & Catherine (Cameron) Flammia, Elaine was a graduate of Somerville High School, class of 1961. She worked as an administrative assistant at Lechmere for several years, American Home Inspection & later at Flammia Beauty Supply. She lived in Melrose for 29 years & also served as an eucharistic minister at the Church of the Incarnation. Laine was the devoted wife of 37 years to Robert A. Erikson, Loving mother of Michelle C. Pana & her husband William, of Melrose, & Deborah E. (Erikson) Lee of Reading. Caring sister of Philip Flammia of Everett, and cherished grandmother of Xoey Lee.
