Elaine F. Pitts, of Melrose, passed away at her home on February 12, 2022, at the age of 82. Elaine was born & raised in East Boston and a graduate of Saugus High School. She went on to earn her degree from Boston State College and also her master's degree from Harvard University. Elaine worked as a School Teacher grades 1-5 for the City of Boston for 34 years and the City of Cambridge for 5 years prior to her retirement. She was a former Vice President & Assistant Treasurer for the Melrose Women's Club and was also a member of St. Mary's Church for many years. Elaine was the loving daughter of the late Frank J. & Charlotte B. (Morrison) Pitts. Caring sister of the late Arthur Pitts. Also survived by relatives & friends. A graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan St., Melrose on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
