Eleanor T. (Curran) Brazeau died after a long illness at home Nov. 26th at the age of 72. Eleanor was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar & St. Mary's High School and attended Catholic University in Washington DC for 3 years. Eleanor was a homemaker, lived in Malden the past 40 years and had previously worked at Action Ambulance in Melrose as a payroll supervisor for 16 years. She was a former parishoner of St. Mary's Church in Melrose and a former member of St. Joseph Church in Everett. Eleanor was the wife of Richard A. Brazeau. Mother of Robert Brazeau & his wife Tina Logan of Talent OR, Christopher Brazeau & his wife Mary of Portsmouth NH, Mary Pohl & her husband Thomas of Clifton Park NY and the late Richard V. Brazeau. Sister of Dr. Richard Curran of Danvers and Sister Joan Curran D.C. of Albany NY. Grandmother of Richard, Christine & Michelle Brazeau, Katherine, Jeanette & Matthew Pohl. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Sat. Nov. 30th at 8:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery Malden.
