Eleanor A. (Cocorochio) Parente passed away at the Glen Ridge Nursing Center in Medford, on September 27, 2007. She was 80 years of age. Eleanor was born and raised in Everett, attended Everett Schools and has been a resident of Melrose for over 50 years. Mrs. Parente was first and foremost a dedicated mother to her six children, family came first. She worked part-time as a waitress for several years at Valleys Steak House and the Red Coach Grill. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Loving mother of Frederick J. Parente of Melrose, Louis V. Parente of Somerville, Robert C. Parente & his wife Lori of Westford, Eleanor D.
