Elena R. (Segno) Rollka, of Melrose, died at the Brighten at Medford Nursing Home in Medford on Nov. 19th at the age of 84. Elena was born, raised and attended schools in the North End. She resided in the West End of Boston, Watertown & Malden for several years and 6 years in Melrose. Elena owned Elenas Jewelry Creations in the North End for over 10 years and also worked in Food Services at the Woburn Rehabilitation Center for 5 years. Mrs. Rollka was an Artist and poet.The Bennet School in the N. End published her poem called 'The North End'. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Catanuso and the late Paul Rollka. Loving mother of Linda Catanuso of Woonsocket, RI and Lisa Catanuso of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Meredith Andretti of RI. Caring great grandmother of Quiana, Nina and Louie.
