Dr. Elizabeth L. (McKinnon) Mullett PHD died after a short illness at Melrose Wakefield Hosiptal on Sept. 5th at the age of 84. She was born in Waltham, raised in Melrose, Graduated from Melrose High School, Melrose Wakefield Hospital School of Nursing, Simmons College, and Boston University with her Masters and PHD in Psychology. Elizabeth worked as Doctor of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell for 10yrs and also at University of CT (UConn.) for a short time. She was a former board member of Catherine Leboure School of Nursing and was on the board to help unite Lowell General Hospital with UMass School of Nursing in Lowell. Dr. Mullett was instrumental in writing a medical instructional book on the heart used at medical schools and coloborated on several other medical articles and books.
