Elizabeth P. (Burnham) Soccorso passed away peacefully on Wed. Nov.14th at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington at the age of 74. Elizabeth was a much loved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sorely missed but always loved. Elizabeth was born and raised in Malden, she graduated from Malden High School and has lived in Melrose the past 42yrs. She was a devoted homemaker and also worked as head lunch supervisor at the Franklin Elementary School in Melrose for over 10yrs. Elizabeth was a member of the Middleton Golf Club Ladies League, she enjoyed dancing, cooking and card playing. She was the beloved wife of Louis Soccorso. Devoted mother of Anita Tierney & her husband Paul of Milton, Diane Byrnes & her husband Arthur of Medford, Elizabeth-Ann Soccorso & her husband Steven McCoy of Reading, Janet Brussard & her husband Thomas of Melrose and Andrea Soccorso & her husband Rohan Fernando of Princeton NJ. Loving grandmother of Elizabeth-Ann, Jennifer, Jamie, Jenna, Steven, Jennings,Thomas, Michael, John and Alex. Loving sister of Anna Seymour of Haverhill & Burnham Lombard of Malden. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Sat. Nov. 17th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited.
