Elsie P. (Pullo) Kinney died at Winchester Hospital, on March 2, 2006, she was 92. Elsie was born in Revere, raised in Revere & Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1931. Mrs. Kinney was a lifelong resident of Melrose. She worked as a secretary in the building department for the City of Melrose for over 25 years and for the Melrose Credit Union since its inception. Elsie was also the treasurer for the Melrose Credit Union for over 10 years. Mrs. Kinney was one of the founding members of Incarnation Church in Melrose; she volunteered as a secretary at Incarnation and was involved with the CYO at church. She was a volunteer at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and the Melrose Senior Center. Elsie was the former wife of the late Warren Kinney. Mother of Lydia A. Bourque & her husband Bruce of Melrose, Peter H. Kinney of Lawrence and the late David W. Kinney. Sister of the late Lydia A. Pullo, Guido & Ralph Pullo. Also survived by 9 grandsons, 4 great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday March 6th, at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
