Elvira ( Viscio) Marinelli died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Nov. 28. at the age of 82. She was born in Boston, raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. Elvira was a homemaker, lived in Melrose for 41 years and the past few years in Saugus. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Incarnation in Melrose and a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield for the past 4 Years. She was the beloved wife of the late Severino J. Marinelli. Devoted Mother of Joseph A. Marinelli of South Carolina, Catherine A. Dalton and Teresa Harrington both of Saugus. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and many nieces & nephews. Sister of the late Phyllis Meloni, Helen Calabro, Gilda Santora, Michael Viscio, and Ernest Viscio. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday Dec. 1st at 8AM. Funeral Mass in the St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
