Emma S. (Henry) Buote, of Melrose, died at the Epoch Nursing Home in Melrose on August 23, 2013 at the age of 96. Emma was born in Melrose, raised in Malden and a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1936. She resided in Malden until 1951, Everett for 57 years and the past 5 years in Melrose. Emma loved raising her 3 boys and spending time with her family & close friends. She was the beloved wife of the late George F. Buote. Loving mother of George J. Buote & his wife Catherine of TN, Robert N. Buote & his wife Deborah of Melrose and the late Edward F. Buote. Devoted sister of the late Norman Henry. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday, Aug. 26th at 11AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9-11AM. Burial in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
