Ethel T. (Reardon) Hunter passed away at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Malden, on July 8th, she was 90 years of age. Ethel was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker, an exceptional tennis player & golfer and was an avid fan of the Bruins, Red Sox and Melrose Pee Wee Red Raiders hockey games. Ethel enjoyed summering in Pocasset, weekends at Wentworth-By-The-Sea in New Hampshire and her love & spirit will always be in her familys hearts. She was the loving wife of the late Seymour W. Sonny Hunter. Devoted mother of Peter S. Hunter of Steamboat Springs, CO and Mark W. Hunter of Melrose. Sister of the late Daniel & Joseph Reardon, Florence Dolloff and Agnes McTigue. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and extended family at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Malden, whos kindness, love & caring will always be remembered. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tues. July 12th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM.
