Evelyn M. (Dillon) Glowik passed away in Winchester, on Thursday, May 8, 2008. She was 77 years of age. Born in Boston, she was raised in Chelsea and graduated from St. Rose High School in Chelsea. Evelyn lived in Lynn for many years before moving to Melrose 10 years ago. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. Wife of the late Anthony Glowik. Mother of the late Annmarie Doucette. Grandmother of Chandler & Cooper Doucette of NH. Sister of John F. Dillon & his late wife Helen of Saugus, Mary L. Kaliris & her husband Charles of Lynnfield, William V. Dillon & his wife Phyllis of Middleborough and the late Margaret & James Concannon. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Saturday, May 10th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
