Evelyn F. (White) Mitchell, of Stoneham, died at the Kathleen Daniels Nursing Facility in Framingham surrounded by her family on Nov. 3rd at 90 years of age. Evelyn was raised in Dorchester & Roxbury and a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School, Class of 1936. After high school, she worked as a Hairdresser for the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Boston for several years. Evelyn resided in Stoneham for the past 53 years, was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church in Stoneham and enjoyed reading, dancing, dining out and traveling. Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late William J. Mitchell Jr. for over 52 years. Loving mother of Mary Theresa Boyle & her husband Thomas of Derry, NH, Kathleen Foster of Wrentham, Susan E. Mitchell of Salem, Evelyn J. Mitchell of Jaffrey, NH, John R. Mitchell of Fl, Mark J. Mitchell of Stoneham and the late Marilyn A. Goucher and William J. Mitchell III. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Caring sister of the late Ruth Fay & Frank R. White Sr. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W.
