Florence E. (Smith) Law passed away at Epoch Senior Health Care of Melrose on March 25th, she was 97. Florence was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, lived in California & New Jersey and most of her life in Melrose. She worked as a manager in the mutual funds department at State Street Bank in Boston for over 20 years, retiring on March 1, 1972. Wife of the late Richard J. Law. Mother of Richard E. Law of Melrose. Sister of John E. 'Jack' Smith of Wakefield, Robert Smith of FL and the late Evelyn L. Crosby, Mildred Kimball, Edna Walsh, Gertrude Regan and Jim Smith. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose , on Wed. March 31st at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. 7-9PM. Burial in Billerica Cemetery in Billerica.
